Hello, yes this is a one-person distro.

Let me just show what I've got.

That's the default greeter (greetd-regreet).

This is the default desktop:

## Supported hardware

If there is interest (and help), we could support anything that has:

- ARMv7 with NEON and VFPv4, that is Cortex-A17 and A15 (and A7, but see RAM)
- 2 GB of RAM (but preferably 4 GB)
- a keyboard and a screen
- FOSS GPU driver support (not technically 100% mandatory, but...)

The actual list is shorter. Way shorter:

- The ASUS C201 Chromebook (aka veyron-speedy)

I intend to also add the C100P Flip (veyron-minnie), but for anything else please get in contact.

## Concept

The point is to show what we can do on ARMv7 hardware, make some
old chromebooks into production devices (ones where you can write, draw, create, and design locally with native applications) instead of only-consumption web appliances.

If you want to read more on why I did this, there's [The Long Story]({filename}/the-long-story.md).

## Software

We have apps, plenty of apps (considering this was built by one person and a single VPS server ;) ):

- a KDE 5 desktop running on wayland
- Firefox
- LibreOffice
- Inkscape
- Krita
- KiCad
- OpenSCAD
- FreeCAD
- Kdenlive
